- Maintain a safe, respectful, and professional working relationship
- Ensure clarity around the scope of services provided
- Protect the wellbeing of both clients and the practitioner
- Support the delivery of a high-quality, sustainable service
2. Scope of Services
Le Roux SEND Group provides professional guidance, advice, and support in relation to Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including (but not limited to):
- EHCP processes
- School support and advocacy
- Parent guidance and strategy
- Educational planning
We do not:
- Provide legal representation

Clients are responsible for:
- Making final decisions regarding their child or situation
- Acting on advice provided
- Communicating with schools, local authorities, and external professionals (unless explicitly included in a service package)
Le Roux SEND Group does not accept responsibility for outcomes resulting from decisions made by clients or third parties.
4. Communication Boundaries
To ensure a professional and manageable service:
- Communication will take place via agreed channels only (e.g. email, scheduled calls)
- Response times are typically within 24–48 hours during working days
- Messages sent outside working hours will be responded to during the next working period
- Continuous or on-demand support is not provided unless included in a paid package
We do not offer 24/7 or emergency support.
5. Session Boundaries
- All sessions are time-limited (e.g. 60 minutes unless otherwise agreed)
- Sessions must be booked in advance
- If a client arrives late, the session will still end at the scheduled time
- Additional time or support requires additional booking and payment
6. Professional Conduct
Le Roux SEND Group is committed to providing services in a respectful, ethical, and professional manner.
We expect the same from clients. We reserve the right to:
- End a session if behaviour is inappropriate, abusive, or disrespectful
- Refuse or withdraw services where professional boundaries are not respected
7. Safeguarding Responsibilities
We operate in line with safeguarding expectations and legal responsibilities.
Where a safeguarding concern arises:
- Appropriate action will be taken
- Information may be shared with relevant authorities if there is a risk of harm
Confidentiality cannot be guaranteed in safeguarding situations.
8. Emotional Support and Professional Role
While we understand that SEND journeys can be emotionally challenging:
- Our role is professional and advisory
- We do not provide ongoing emotional counselling or therapeutic services
- Where appropriate, clients may be signposted to additional support services
9. Boundaries Around Ongoing Support
Unless explicitly included within a purchased package:
- Support is limited to scheduled sessions
- Follow-up communication is limited and defined
- Additional input requires additional booking
10. Independence of Advice
All guidance is provided based on professional knowledge and experience.
However:
- Outcomes (e.g. EHCP approval, school decisions) cannot be guaranteed
- External organisations (schools, local authorities) make final decisions
- We are not responsible for actions taken by third parties
11. Personal and Professional Boundaries
To maintain professionalism:
- Relationships remain strictly professional
- Personal relationships with clients are not appropriate
- Contact outside agreed services and channels is not permitted
12. Agreement to This Policy
By engaging with Le Roux SEND Group, you agree to respect and adhere to these professional boundaries.
Failure to do so may result in the withdrawal of services.
